I just wanted to take a few moments to remark on the exceptional service, care and attention I received from both you and your staff few weeks ago in Pittsburgh.

As you know, I had procedures done 15 years ago by another doctor. I was never satisfied with the results, and found myself trying to camouflage my hairline and other areas. I personally am meticulous about the way my hair looks, but as a manager and educator for a major manufacturer in the hair care industry, I also find myself in a high profile situation where my hair must look its best.

I had been looking for answers for quite some time when I saw an article in some health magazine and was impressed by the natural look you created for Rick Edwards. My decision making process was made easy by the following facts: all of my questions regarding you, your procedures, and my options were answered honestly and directly, I was never pressured into making a decision or appointment, and finally, when we met for an evaluation, you first took the time to understand what was most important to me, then suggested a course of action to achieve the results we discussed.

Upon seeing the work you performed, I was instantly impressed by the care and detail of the graft placement. More importantly, you did exactly what you said you would regarding density in certain areas, creating a natural looking flow in the crown, and helping me create a natural looking hairline zone. I can tell when my hair grows in, it will blend perfectly.

From initial contact, to post-op follow up, you and your staff have made an uncomfortable situation for me not only comfortable, but I'm actually excited about the results and I'm looking forward to having done the finishing work we discussed.

Dear Dr. B, I would like to sincerely thank you and your support staff for the excellent care I received before, during and after my surgery on Monday, October 23.

I felt totally comfortable with you and your staff immediately. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted and taken directly back to my "ready room." You went over everything with me and made sure I was comfortable with what we discussed in terms of treatment and whether I wanted to do anything different, and before I knew it, you and your surgical staff had professionally and expediently performed the procedure. Then, my head was carefully bandaged and I was driven to my hotel by your kind driver. Upon returning the next morning, I met with the post-surgery staff to remove my bandages. I was amazed at the tremendous amount of transplants as well as the superb placement. My hair was washed, dried and styled with care and I was given a vast amount of after-care information as well as numerous follow-up phone calls. To my amazement and delight, I received a delicious box of gourmet chocolates just short of two weeks after leaving your facility with a hand written get-well note. I have healed very quickly, with practically unnoticed scarring.

I realize that you know all of these things. The reason I described my pleasant experience is such detail is because I have a history to fall back on. I have a similar procedure performed by Dr. Bosley's office in Atlanta, Georgia several times before. Aside from the procedures costing almost triple what your office charges, the doctors would tell me what they were going to do, instead of asking me what I wanted. The sutures in my donor areas were ragged in places, which lead to longer healing time and more noticeable scarring. There were no pre-surgery calls or instruction, and I would receive only one follow-up call (moments after arriving home from the airport). I did not receive nearly the pre-care/post-care information packets and medications that your office provided me. Until now, I thought this was (regrettably) how the process was supposed to be.

My biggest disappointment is that I didn't find your office first. It would have saved me time, a great deal of money and limited my pain and suffering during recovery. I thank you for your expertise, the friendly manner in attitude in which I was treated, and the tremendous caring delivered by your surgical and administrative staff. I hope this attitude and way of conducting business never changes. Please feel free to have any potential patients contact me for a very satisfied reference.

Dear Doc Brandy,

I want to thank you again for the wonderful experience I had at your center. Everything totally exceeded my expectations, especially the result and how it affected my total look.
